I led this project end-to-end as the Agile/Scrum delivery owner — from requirements through development, UAT, client sign-off, and production release, into support handover.
Build phase (Scrum): Owned delivery from requirements to production — running sprints, managing the backlog, aligning stakeholders, coordinating UAT, securing client sign-off, and managing the production release.
Support phase (Kanban): Now in support mode, I manage ongoing needs in a Kanban model — requirement analysis, Change Request lifecycle, releases, and hotfixes.
A clear example of running both methodologies in their right context — Scrum to take a project from zero to production, Kanban to sustain it through continuous change.
A multi-tenant SaaS workflow automation product serving government and enterprise clients across the US. Each client is onboarded as an Organisation with dedicated admin and public portals, custom workflows, and tailored integrations.
Built on a microservices architecture:
- Automation Designer (custom backend workflow logic),
- Page Designer (portal pages + end-to-end flow integration),
- Report Designer (custom reporting),
- Document Management System (versioned, metadata-tagged documents), and
- Automation Services (in-house integrations to Outlook, Salesforce, Asana, Dropbox, and more).
A few major client implementations in the SaaS product:
Air Quality Licensing Portal — full lifecycle delivery and ongoing support for a US state environmental division (featured above)
Student Enrollment Management System — delivery for a large US metropolitan public school district
Government Licensing Portal — recreational licensing (fishing, hunting, and related permits) for a US state government division
Department of Transportation — Notice & Automated Hearing Systems — workflow automation for a US state transportation department
I hold two parallel roles on the platform —
1. Project Delivery for the Air Quality Licensing Client Implementation,
and,
2. Agile Delivery ownership for the platform-wide DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure function.

I led the Agile delivery of the DevOps and cloud infrastructure underpinning the entire Expertly platform — ensuring smooth client onboarding through to production, and handling all in-house and third-party integration needs.
Agile delivery: Backlog management and refinement, full sprint lifecycle ownership for the Infra/DevOps team, and QA/staging readiness coordination for release.
Cloud & DevOps (AWS):
Blue/Green deployments and release management
Disaster recovery planning and execution
Monitoring (Grafana), alarms (CloudWatch), error tracking (Sentry), incident alerting (PagerDuty)
Cloud cost management and optimisation (~33% reduction)
